Our workshop

A workshop built around what's already in the cupboard

Fablefjortempopanda began at a shared table in a converted mill workspace, where a few neighbours swapped offcuts every December. We still work that way: patiently, with what is within reach.

What we believe

A cohesive Christmas does not need a shopping list. It needs a palette, a little time and materials that already have a story. We favour reuse, composting and decorations that can return year after year.

How we test

Every project is made at least twice at an ordinary kitchen table with ordinary tools, once by an experienced maker and once by a beginner. If a step confuses the beginner, we rewrite it.

How we stay safe

Each guide separates inspiration from usable instructions and flags adult-only steps, plant toxicity and fire risks. We recommend LED lighting near anything handmade.

Independent by design

We are not a shop and we do not earn commission from links. Museums, traditions and materials we mention are included because they are useful references, not because of any partnership. If you spot an error or have a tradition from your own family to share, we would love to hear it.
